North Toronto Academy

North Toronto Academy is a co-ed, independent day school offering full-time Grades 7-12, part-time credit courses, and summer school.  NTA is inspected and accredited by the Ministry of Education, and adheres to all Ministry rules with respect to curriculum, teaching standards, and the 110-hour course length regulation.

North Toronto Academy provides highly Personalized Education, tailored to our students individual academic and scheduling needs.  Our full-time Grade 7-12 program is designed specifically for students who are not achieving to their potential in large school settings, and instead require a smaller, more personalized educational experience with lots of individual teacher attention, support and motivation.  The goal of our programs is to prepare students for the next stage of their education, by ensuring they are strong in the core English, Math and Science subjects, as well as study skills and work habits.

NTA's Part-time and Summer School programs are for any student who needs to repeat a failed course, upgrade a mark, or earn a new credit. Students at other schools may take credit courses at NTA, and have them added to their Ontario Student Transcript held by their full time schools.  Courses are offered in both small group and '1:1' (private) formats.  NTA offers credit courses on personalized and highly flexible schedules to accommodate student's busy lives.  Courses can be taken during any combination of day time, after school, evening, or weekend hours.
